History
Muso Jikiden Eishin Ryu (MJER) as created by Hayashizaki Jinsuke Minamoto Shigenobu in the early 1600s and is one of the more widely practiced Iai styles. Muso Jikiden Eishin Ryu means peerless, directly transmitted school of Eishin. MJER consists of solo forms (kata) as well as paired forms (kumitachi).
